Welcome!
Hi Ritual family,
I’m Erin Larson and I’m the woman behind Ritual. I’m a single mom to a wonderful son and two beautiful dogs in Georgetown, TX. I work a full-time on top of my business and battle with health issues more and more as I gain more grey hair, so devoting all my time here can be challenging (to say the least).
I was in a dark, dark, dark… dark place when I began making candles. I was desperate to find my identity again after years of it being lost in my marriage. The second my first candle-making kit arrived, I felt alive again. I hadn’t felt happy, peaceful, and focused in so long, and the hope it gave me was indescribable. I could feel my self-worth slowly start to grow again, and eventually gained enough courage and confidence to remove myself from the situation I was in that had caused so much darkness to begin with.
This is why Ritual is focused on self-care. Because that’s what it was for me, and if I can inspire others to find that same peace and hope that I did, then I will have succeeded.
Self-care rituals aren’t necessarily things you do, but instead is how you treat yourself. Are you kind to yourself? Compassionate? Patient? There’s still so much I’m discovering myself, and I’m inviting you to join me on this amazing journey.
The November 2025 Giveaway
The winner has been announced! There was so much participation and we have more wonderful people join the Ritual gang. The prize was the Signature Collection Sampler Box (images above). These boxes have been huge hit and I will be making more soon!
I’m planning on having one more giveaway before the holidays are over, so keep an eye on your inbox, Instagram, or FaceBook for the announcement.
Ritual Rewards
Ritual now has a loyalty program!!!
I wanted to give back to all my loyal supporters, and now I finally can. Although I don’t have the ability to have my own built into my website, it’s a wonderful place to start.
Since I began this business, I’ve been met with a community that shows up again and again, and not just for the candles, but for the mission behind it. The compliments, the excitement, the “these are the best candles I’ve ever bought”… it never loses its impact. I’m truly honored that this kind of support has become a consistent part of my business.
And so, this is my appreciation in return, and I hope you’re as excited about Ritual Rewards as I am to introduce it to you!
You can now earn points on purchases on the Ritual website and redeem them for discounts!

December’s Self-Care Ritual
Boundaries & Self-Worth
Before I gained the courage to leave my marriage, I had a superficial understanding of self-worth. I was accepting, tolerating, and even encouraging behavior and treatment that no one should have to go through.
It took me reaching rock bottom and beyond to finally wake up and realize what I was doing and the situation I was in. And, like many others who have gone through similar situations, I didn’t let my loved ones or my family know the truth… except for my best friends (I have 2), and only one of them really knew the real horrors of my day-to-day life because the other one lives a thousand miles away.
Because of her support, I learned new vocabulary to identify what was happening to me. I stopped excusing poor, abusive behavior and calling it what it was. I began to put up boundaries, and although they weren’t great or strong yet, it was a step in the right direction.
What I learned is that boundaries and self-worth go hand-in-hand. They’re a reflection of self-respect. Boundaries aren’t easy to put up when you’re faced with negative reactions or consequences, but they’re necessary to protect your peace.
So, if you’re just starting out and need some help to get started with setting up your own boundaries, here’s some great resources that have really helped me:
The path to true self-worth is different for everyone.
I hope that my story can help to make that path more accessible for as many people as I can.
